OK that wasn’t the best title I’ve come up with. Apologies…I’m working on it!
I don’t even need to say it. When you combine the powers of powerhouses like Grand Trailer Park, Dandenong Pavilion and Easey’s, the result is a damn good burger by Dani Zeini. On Collins street. Aka way too close to my work and I will now be ‘forced’ to eat these delicious buns of goodness whenever I can. What. a. shame.
Enter, Royal Stacks. The team has developed top notch burgers using pasture fed beef and no additives. The menu is simple enough to make a snappy decision, but like me, I’m sure you’ll be torn between the ‘Bacon Bacon’ deliciousness or my favourite, Queen Elizabeth. A single stack topped with Swiss cheese and truffle mayo. It was so rich and moorish inside a fluffy bun. Maybe I’ll add bacon to that next time, imagine the glorious taste….
Remember when you went to your friend’s birthday party when you were a little one and their mum was so super awesome and gave you the BEST food like potato gems? Well you can relive that amazing experience right there at Royal Stacks. These delicious potato pillows were everything you want in a gem and I could have had a bucket load.
Giant Nutella brings all the girls to the yard.
For those of us with a separate stomach for dessert, 7 Apples has you covered. Yes you read that correctly, there is gelati and burgers within the same space. You could pitch a tent and live in there. Or maybe just make a bed out of fluffy buns.
Frozen custard was a new thing for me and let’s just say, welcome to my life 7 Apples. I knew it was a pretty safe bet, I mean a custard bombaloni is pretty much god’s gift to mankind in my opinion, so there was a pretty good chance I was going to enjoy this and look for seconds momentarily. They’ll be serving up flavours like Nutella, Kinder Surprise, Salted Caramel….ok I don’t even need to keep writing because your chair is probably empty and you’re on your way to 470 Collins St. You can thank me later.
