I’m always keen for burger. I think I’ve made that pretty obvious. That cheesey, bacon, pattie deliciousness just makes my knees go weak and just watch me try and avoid ordering one when they are on a menu. I try to be healthy, I really do. But that is usually overpowered by my urge to eat all the things.
I had wanted to hit up Hobba for a while now and so took the opportunity before heading to the hairdresser a couple of weeks ago. Once again, was lucky enough to have a stunner of day and sat in the window with the sun streaming in. Bloody glorious. It also provides great lighting for awesome shots of your coffee cup.
Cawfee. The strong stuff.
Must admit, I had massive venue love after stepping inside. Fantastic high ceilings, lots of wooden panels, and lots of greenery. It’s like the best nursery ever. Except instead of the local footy team coles sausage bbq, you have a menu full of ridiculously tasty food. Yes that was a ramble, my bad. I’m trying.
I perused over the menu for a couple of minutes but I was already drooling over the burger that had landed on the table next to me so my decision was made twice over. The Hobba Burger. Eep. Why do I write when I’m hungry? It’s like grocery shopping when you’re hungry. Always a bad idea.
One of the best. Drool. Amazing.
Just take my money.
My stomach is currently growling looking at this bad boy. This big fella was a grass-fed beef patty, with pickles, cheddar, caramelised onion, lettuce and tomato with a side of those brilliant looking beer battered chips. I do seem to say this alot but this was one of the best burgers I’ve had in Melbs. Look at that spectacular tower of deliciousness. I want one now.
The rich breakfast menu looks uber tempting as well and I can’t wait to get back there to try all the food. And believe me, I will try all the food. I also feel like I need to host a function and eat all that food too. Can you tell they made a good impression?
See you soon, burger. Love you.
